A FORGED WHISTLER.
ARTIST’S CONFESSION, i. London, Dec. 23. An affair that is exercising the attention of experts in. Paris is the assertion of an artist named Sussy, that he painted and sold for 80 francs a picture signed with the famous Whistler butterfly signature. The picture was exhibited at the Fiquet Gellery, and was sold for 150,000 francs.
