LAST NIGHT OF CONNIE TALMADGE IN "A VIRTUOUS VAMP."
There is no doubt that Constance Talmadge will achieve a world-success in her initial First National production, "A Virtuous Vamp," an EmersonLoos production of Clyde Fitch's comedv, ''The Bachelor." It is truly a picture full of snap and ginger on the latest love angle, which will fascinate everybody by its vital pertinence. There is* not one triangle, but a score of them—l/ves and sweethearts enmeshed by a girl who just couldn't make her eyes behave. There is not a fault in the production throughout, and it is one continuous laugh from title to fadeout. The final screening takes place to-night at Everybody's.
"THE DEVIL'S PASSKEY" TOMORROW. To-night and to-morrow at Everybody's the famous Universal-Jewel do luxe special feature "The Devil's Panskey" will be "presented, for the first time in the Dominion. "The Devil's Passkey" is a wonderful creation, a picture' that once viewed will never be forgotten, for the producer, Eric von Stroheim, is a wizard and has combined a tremendous tense story with a wealth of marvellous detail and true to life atmosphere. This time you will surely think you are in Paris, for there is a' wonderful reproduction of the Grand Prix, the classic of the French turf, with its thrilling races, brilliant crowd and royal guests; sumptuous scenes showing the interior of the Theatre Frartcais, elaborate views of Mmc. Malot's fashionable costume establishment with its beautiful mannequins—all this in addition to a story that gets your heart in its clutch and keeps tightening with every reel. The remarkable story of a man and woman who became tangled in a devil's web of intrigue is a sensationally interesting story that will grip every regular picture patron and make regular patrons of hundreds of others. The screening nights are to-morrow and Thursday and the prices for this wonderful super-picture are D.C. 2s Od, stalls 2s and Is Cd.
THE PEOPLE'S. BIG FOX DOUBLE BILL TO-NIGHT. Centring around the wife of a man falsely accused of crime, "What Would You Do?" a new William Fox production starring Madlaine Traverse, which will be seen at the People's Theatre tonight, is said to reveal life behind the scenes of exclusive metropolitan society. The" play is rich in big situations—tense moments winch keep the audience on the qui vivo during the entire showing of the picture. The second star picture presents delightful Vivian Rich in "A World of Folly." In this picture Miss Rich portrays the part of a neglected wife who becomes innocently involved with an unscrupulous admirer. There is deep love interest throughout and a happy climax comes with the defeat of the aims of the man who tried to wreck the life of the innocent woman. The latest gazettes are also shown.
