YESTERDAY'S '-TOTE" FIGURES. TARAa'AKI CLUB'S RECOR& Largo suuif, of money were passed through the totalisator in New Zealand yesterday, (lie total for the live principal meetings' being £325,705. In each case the figures showed an increase oyer those for the corresponding day's racing last year. The total for the same five meetings last rear was £253,011 10s. Auckland headed the list with £154,ISS IDs, and then followed Manawatn, Taranaki, Dunedin, and Wcstport in that order. The investments at New Plymouth established a record for the Taranaki .loekev Hub, amounting to £i 1,347, an increase of £11203 compared with last year. The previous record was made on the second day of the Christmas meeting last year, when the totalisator handled .£"-1,873. but this figure was parsed yesterday by £"474. The details m yesterday's investments with a comparison for the corresponding day last year, are:
