At a meeting of the Amalgamated So> ciety of Engineers, held in the Trades, Hall to-night, about two hundred ware present to consider the question of taking drastic action with regard to the recent decision, in the cost-of-living bonus. The following resolution was pasßad: "That this branch of the Amalgamated Society of Engineers immediately cancel their registration under the Mu»trial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, and that our delegates on the Iron Trades Council bring the matter bpfore the boiler-makers' and moulders' delegates with a view to them taking die name action; also that we notify other centres asking them to do the same."
