THE DAVIS CUP.
FIRST MATCH ON-TUESDAY. PLAYERS IN GOOD FORM. By TeiegTuph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Davis Cup teams lunched with the Governor-General to-day and practised this afternoon. All the players are showing good form. Mr. H. W. Gore, of Wellington, has been appointed umpire. The Davis Cup matches will start on Tuesday, when the first two singles, will he played. The doubles will be played on Thursday, and the final two singles on Friday.
