INDIAN FACTORIES ACT.
PROTECTION OF YOUNG CHILDREN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Delhi, Dec. 20. The Government will amend the Indian Factories Act during the first session of the new Councils, giving effect to the suggestions of the Washington Labor Conference, especially regarding the age of children employed as halftimers, and also dealing with the lowe: and upper age limit of children employed in factories.
