CHARGES INVESTIGATED. By Telegraph.—Tress Assn— Copyright. Washington, Dec. 18. The naval court of inquiry sent to Haiti to investigate the charges that United States marines indiscriminately killed natives has reported that there were no grounds for the charges. The court praised the work of the marines at Haiti and declared that where unjustifiable homicides occurred in two instances the guilty persons were punished.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
