Dunedra, Last Fight. ,_J Dunedin Tramways Union has a Jpted the City Council's terms as to h*rs and wages that were embodied in the latest offer as submitted by a committee appointed by the council. Conductors in their first and second years are to receive Is Bsd per hour; in their third, fourth, and fifth years, Is 9d; in their sixth and subsequent years, Is lOd. Motormen in their first and second years are to get Is 3d per hour; In their third, fourth, and fifth years, Is lOd; in their sixth and subsequent years, lg lid. These advances represent an extra id per hour. An important concession now to be enjoyed by the men is double pay instead of time and a half for Sunday work. It is also provided that a six day week is to be rtwognlsed. When a man is called for duty on a Sunday he is to get a day off during the week.
