(To tlie Editor,) Sir, —I wish to correct on erroneous Impression conveyed in a local In your paper of this morning. The local referred to conveys the impression that It is the intention of the K.B.A. to make an appeal to the public for the sum of £SOOO, whereas the position is this: The £SOOO referred to has already been subscribed, and now that the necessary legislation has been passed by Parliament, whereby the Hawera Borough Council has been given power to transfer a site to the R.S.A., the erection of the Club will be proceeded with after the holidays. In view ot the fa>et that money wlas falporibedi ill over the province, I will be pleased if you will insert this letter and so correc; the wrong Impression conveyed.—l am, etc., W. V.
