TI£E SCOW HAERE. The Hae're arrived off the harbor at 7.15 yesterday from Dunedin. It is understood she has a quantity of explosives to discharge at this part. The vessel will be berthed early this morning. . THE RARAWA. The Rcrawii i* expected to arrive tomorrow morning from Onohunga with passengers and cargo. She will reutm north at 8.20 p.m. CORINNA TO-MORROW. The Corinna has been delayed at Onehunga ; and Is not now expected to arrive till tomorrow. She will lift dairy produce at this port for transhipment at "Wellington. MAIMOA FOR NEW ZEALAXD. The Malimoa, a new steamer recent.y built for t; e Shaw, Savi'l and Albion Company, left Newport News on December Bth for Lytteiton, Dunedin, Adelaide, and Melbourne PAKEHA LETT LONDON". The Shaw, Savin and Albion liner Paksha sailed from London on December 6th fur Lvttelton and Port Chalmers. She has on board for New Zealand a large number of Ksseneers booked by the New Zealand Government. . UNION COMPANY'S PURCHASE. A cablegram received from Lonibi last night states that the Union Steam Shin Company have purchased the German steamer John Heidmann, of 2380 tons, to bo re named the Kalcnanawa. OVERHAUL OP REGULUS. The annual survey of the Regulus has been completed. The holds were thoroughly tested in accordance with the regulations for the carriage of petroleum, for which a certuc.Uc has been granted. MAPOURIKA'S REPAIRS. The Mapourlka was placed on the patent slip on December 10 for the purpose of sighting and cleaning, it was found that the propeller shaft had worn down rather below normal, ft has therefore been decided to have the tube rebushed.
