The Daily Express's Vienna correspondent states that Austria's economic situation has become hopeless. Funds are exhausted, and the Government is unable to purchase food abroad. The country cannot carry on for more than two months. The Chancellor and Mayor have called a meeting of foreign representatives for to-morrow, also members of the Reparation Commission, to explain matters them to make a last effort to save' tHe country. The Chancellor says that if the Powers cannot help, the Goyernment must resign and request the Reparation Commission to administer the country.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
