Harding (the new President), who took his Senatorial seat and spoke as a member of that body. He said he wished „to have the co-operation of Congress, but pointed out three months' Democratic rule remained. He hoped the Senate and the House would help to make it fruitful and unanimously recognise there were no party ends to serve. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
