SHEEPSKIN SALES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Cbristchurch, Last Night. At the sheepskin sales to-day the market showed a further weakness, particularly for faulty skins and pelts. However, brokers generally appeared to have a freer hand in meeting the market and some catalogues were practically cleared, eitter at auction or subsequently. On an average the market was down from %d to Id per lb. from tho preceding sale. Some of the prices obtained were 8d per lb. for super, merino, 6%d for sound half breds, 5 l-5d for faulty half breds, s'4d for sound three-quarter breds, 4%d for sound crossbred hoggets, 3%d for faulty crossbreds.
