Mr. Bailey, a Labor member of the Assembly, gave evidence that lie had a conversation with Mr. Talbot early in. Septemoer. The latter told him that lie had contributed £SOO to the Labor Party funds. Mr. Talbot gave evidence that be gave money for Mr. Joantton's personal election Expenses, and the shutting up ' mentioned in the letter referred to abu*e by the Labor Party on the hustings pf Mr. Georgeson and himself.
