■ UNQUALIFIED DENTISTS. By Telegraph.—l'resa Association. Wellington, Deo. 2. A deputation of unregistered dentists requested the Minister of Health to grant registration to those men who had obtained experience on dental operations. The deputation suggested a modified course for a year- The Hon. C. J. Parr said that if he could help them without damaging the standard of efficiency required in the profession, he would do so. The standard must ho maintained, but he recognised that more dentists were required. He assured the deputation that dental nurses would not be allowed to carry out dental operations except under the Education Department.
