NORTHERN DIVISION. ! TiKORANGI V. NEW PLYMOUTH. j At Tikoraiigi yesterday, Hie home team beat the New Plymouth Club's representatives by an Innings and 18 runs. The feature of the match was the bowling af E. Kartell, for Tikoraiigi, this player seeming seven wickets for eiglt runs in New Plymouth's first in-1 nliiga. Jupp was, also fairly successful, getting three for 8. Tikoraiigi batted first and made 104, C. Foreman (24) and P. Sarten (2;J) being tho chief scorers. The first innings of the New Plymouth Club netted 32. On going in to bat again they made 54, Woollet (1!)) and Sheppard (f8) being the only ones to reach double figures. Total 54 INGLEWOOD DEFEjAT URENUI. Urenui sustained their first defeat of the season yesterday, when Inglewood defeated them on the latter club's ground by 49 runs on the first innings. Urenui, who were very greatly taudlcappeil by Ihe absence of O'Neil and Bkmdell, were all disposed of for 39 runs, no batsman reaching double figures. Sutherland, 0 wickets for 23 runs, and Gibson, 2 for 17, were the principal bowlifrs. Inglewood 'replied with 88, the principal scorers being Clcgg 24 (retired), Coutts 17, Nlcholls 15, and Cutfleld 15.
