CHRISTMAS FAIR.

OPENING tfHIS AFTERNOON. The Christmas Fair in aid of the Clarke Memorial fiirls' Hostel, will open in the Workers' Social Hall at 2.30 this afternoon. Elaborate preparations have been made, and a very attractive array of stalls, well filled with useful gifts for Christmas, will be open for business this afternoon and to-night. Afternoon tea will be procurable, and a concert programme will be given tonight. The fair will be continued to-morrow and. on Saturday, afternoon and evening. A produce stall will be provided each day, and on Saturday it will be managed by country ladies. Another attraction on Saturday will be Father Christmas and the Christmas tree.
