CUSTOMS RETURNS.
Arv INCREASE LAST MONTH. Compared with the corresponding period in 1919, the Customs return! collected at the port of New Plymouth during November show an increase of over £llOO, the month netting £7799 0s Id in duty, compared with £6654 13s 4d last year. The beer duty amounted to slightly le*s than November, 1919, the total being £2OB 9s 4d, compared with £304 14s 7d in 1019.
