THE DUTIES OF NURSES-. By Teloirauh.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. In connection with the State dental scheme the local branch of the Dental Association denies the statement that the duties of nurses will he confined to the very limited field of the treatment of infants' deciduous teeth up to the age of six years and to preventative methods. They state that Mr. Hunter, when in conference with them on October 4, said, in answer to questions, that the nurses would treat sixth year molars (permanent teeth). The nurses' treatment would commence witW five-year-old children when entering the primers and would continue to any age. Septic teeth would be treated by qualified men.
