COUNCIL BY-ELECTIONS.
ANOTHER NOMINATION RECEIVED. Nominations in connection with the municipal by-elections in New Plymouth close at noon to-day. So far there is only one candidate for the Mayoralty, Mr. F. E. Wilson, who has had previous experience in municipal matters. For the vacancy on the Council Mr. J. Kibby, of Fitzroy (anex-councillor), was recently announced as a candidate, and yesterday Mr. Augustus E. Watkins was also nominated.
