SIR WILLIAM HERRIES.
HINT OF EARLY RETIREMENT. (By Wire.—-Own Correspondent.) < Wellington, Last Night. Sir William Herriea, whose, health has not been good for some time past, is' in hospital again. His friends expect to see him about again soon, but it is likely that lie will not remain much longer in active Ministerial work. He was anxious to be relieved of duty earlier in the year, and it was at the request of the Prime Minister that he remained in harness over the session. He is holding at present the portfolios of Labor and Customs.
