AN EMPIRE FILM.
| PICTURES OF PRINCE'S TOUR. NEW ZEALAND SCENES. Br Telegraph.—Presa Aaea.«-Copyrigtit, Received Nov. 23, 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 22. A large and distinguished audience at the Alhambra witnessed the first screening of the official film of the Prince of Wales' tour. The audience wa/i enthusiastic, especially over the living flags formed by the school children of Australia and New Zealand, the welcomes in Australian cities, and the striking pictures of mountainous seas in the Australian Bight sweeping over the Renown. The film gives prominence to New Zealand scenes, the Maori dances evoking amusement. Mundaring Weir (New South Wales) is shown, but the picture overlooks Queensland. The Prince is always prominent'. Scenes crossing the equator are highly effective, but a feature of the film is its high educative value. It gives a splendid and vivid impression of the Empire. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assty
