Tasmanlan Blues £24 lo £25 a ton; New Zealand £23 to £24. Tasraanian and New Zealand maples, 130s to 100s per 50411)., all ex store. Deans.— Dull. X,nv Zealand 85s to 90s. Sugar Is unchanged. The cheese market Is weak, and the consumption is restricted Retailers are refusion a considerable part of the Government allotments, and thus the Government's stocks of imported cheese are likely to last till February, and .possibly March. Canadian free cheese is about 158s to 102s. Tkc Food Ministry now permits the eipi."tatlo.i of British cheese. The freight, markets are weak all round, especially American business. The decline Is .argely attributable to (he coal strike, causing an accumulation of tonnage with a congestion and an over-supply in some markets.
