TO LITHUANIANS AND POLES. By TslegrapH.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Copenhagen, Nov. 17. A message from Kovno states that the League of Nations invited the Lithuanian Government to instruct the army to adopt a defensive attitude. A similar note was sent to Poland, asking the Government to influence Zelignowski to discontinue his attacks. The Lithuanian General Stall atateß that fierce fighting continues.
