BOMB PLOT.

NEW YORK SENSATION. WALL STREET CONSPIRACY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, Nov. 11. The Evening World declares that the Wall Street explosion on September 16 was the result of a revolt of the Union of House Wreckers against the eontractors' ring. The World bases the charges on the results of investigation, and states that alien workmen, in revenge for the ring's oppression, sent a bomb designed to explode near a house, wrecking a job conducted by a ring contractor next door to the J. P. Morgan Company's offices. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Received Nov. 12, 9.45 p.m. New York, Nov. 11. The New York Evening World's revelation regarding the Wall Street explosion follows the exposure of an amazing system of extortion carried on by Mr. R. P. Brindell, head of the Labor Trades Council. The investigation revealed that Brindell controlled practically the entire building trade of New York, levying a toll on employers and workers alike.

Securing the support of the contractor for the Wall Stret house wrecking job, Brindell forced out the existing union workers and substituted his own men who were willing to pay the tribute. In revenge against the contractor, the ousted workers planned the bomb plot, and an infernal machine was placed in a wagon, which was driven into Wall Street by a driver, who was ignorant of the contents. Traffic delayed the wagon several minute 3, the explosion resulting before it reached the site intended.

i The World states that several attemps were made to kill the foreman on the wrecking job, who 9poke to the driver after the explosion, and who gave the paper valuable information. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
