NATIONAL LABOR CONFERENCE. By T*]«6rraph.—l'ress Association. Wellington, Nov. 11. The national conference called by the Alliance of Labor concluded to-day. The conference arrived at a decision by which it is hoped that the workers of New Zealand will be grouped into one association, which will provide facilities for a better system of industrial organisation for the wage-earners of t)ie Dominion. The conclusions will be submitted to Hie various organisations represented at the conference. BOY SCOUTS ,_ COUNCIL. ' C'liristchureh, Nov. 11. The Dominion Council of the Boy Scouts Association met in conference today, Brigadier-General Andrew, acting Chief Commissioner, presiding. The constitution was amended in various directions, the principal change being the transfer of control from the Chief Commissioner to the executive, subject to the control of the council. It was decided that hoadquarl.rs should remain in Christeburch. but. that the annual meeting should be held in Wellington and Christeburch alternately in May. The meeting next year will'be in Wellington.
