(the railtvaymen'i leader), speaking at Hull, s'.'d the majority of the railwaymen's delegates favored a strike to assist the miners, but he opposed it because such a stop would lead to ft eooial and Moody revolution. He did not believe social wrongs could be removed by a bloody upheaval. The country was never in a more dangerous position, und the mass of the population did not know how near the precipice we were.—Aui.-NX Cable Assn.
