HARD ON HOSPITAL BOARD.
MINISTER PTtOMISES HELP. (By Wire. —Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Nov. 6. Air. R. Masters, in the House this afternoon, mentioned again the grievances of a hospital board, which had to gupport the children of a man who was hnng ( for murdering Ills wife. The family had been casually resident in the district, which was now burdened with the charge of £lO4 a year. Mr. Parr said he had conferred 'with his officers on the point. The case, admittedly, was one of hardship, and ho had made some arrangements to help the hospital board concerned. He hoped to be able to provide a sum not exceeds ing half the maintenance charge.
