RESULT OF POLL TO RAISE A LOAN. pURSUAXT to Section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, l'.U-'S, I "Hereby give notice that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Borough of New Plymouth was taken on the 3rd day of November. 1020. oil a proposal to raise a Special Loan of £22,500 for the following purposes: — (a) To take, purchase, acquire, or otherwise provide for the purposes of the Council's Electric Traunvay System, Rolling Stock, Tramcars, Shelter Sheds, land, buildings, plant, machinery, materials and other things. (b) To construct, a triangle or triangles for turning cars. (c) To complete the construction of the permanent way of the said Tramway System. (d) For any other purposes incidental or in relation to any of the above-mentioned purposes. 1 The sum proposed to lie borrowed for all such purposes is £22,500 at a rate of interest not exceeding £5 10s per centum per annum, with a sinking fund of one and one-half per centum per annum additional.
