STRATFORD A. & P. SHOW.
Competitions at (lie Stratford A. & P. Show, oiler additional attractions both to competitors and public alike, besides new classes, additional prizes are being offered for the Open Hunters and Maiden Hunters' Competitions. The classes for horses have been enlarged, in the Harness Horses, an open class for Trotting Mare or Gelding, which does not appear in the Schedule, has been inserted.
A good entry is promised in both the sheep and pig sections, classes in both instances have been arranged to meet the requirements of ihc district. Increased accomodation has been arranged for the Industrial section to meet the additional classes provided exhibits for the junior section promise to justifv the society's decision to enlarge this branch In the junior cooking classes, a special prize of half a guinea above the schedule award lias been given -for most points scored.
Entries for the dog section promise very keen competition amongst the different breeds, enquiries being received from an area extending over the whole of the North Island. Exhibitors arc reminded that ■ entries close on November Kith, and are advised to make their entries early.
