TARANAKI'S FINE RECORD. ; DETAILS OF PATRIOTIC FUNDS. Taranaki's splendid record for patriotic work is demonstrated in the details just compiled of the patriotic funds collected throughout New Zealand, and which show that the total receipts from all sources in Taranaki were .C2(i2,070. Of this total ;U-2'Ji,l()3 was contributed for comforts, .-tlli.G-Ki to Belgian relief, and .ElO.liilil to the Red Cross The sum of ClilMW) is marked as transfers to various funds.
