CJIGNS OF CHRIST'S COMING. U THE POLITICAL SIGN. "And the .third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from Heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell i upon a third part of the rivers, and upon ] the fountains of water; and the name] of the star is called WORMWOOD; and j the third part of the waters became wormwood: and many men died of the. waters, because they were made hitter." —Revelation viii. The great war which was to end all wars has not produced the results expected of it. Then, too, we see. internal disorders in every land; incurable discontent and widespread restlessness. Riots and tumults of the past have been put down by the strong hand of the law; but to-day Governments seem powerless. And all the reforms that men have ever planned are no more effective to produce peace than court-plaster would prove a cure for malignant cancer. Men may talk of peace and arbitration, but there will be no settled peace until "The Prince of Peace," WHOM the world cast out and crucified, comes again and tnkes the reins of government into HIS OWN
