The excellent organisation which permitted the officials (all members of the school staff) to curry through such a. lengthy programme without a hitch is a tribute to the organising Ability of Miss Burr, (he principal and her staff. The principal officials responsible for the running of the sports were Miss Burrows, who as sports mistress was organiser, and also acted as starter, despatching her fields away well, and .Misses Clark and Baruett, judges, who had some remarkably close finishes to adjudicate on. They gave tl'eir decisions promptly and correctly. Miss Barr was assiduous in her attention to the visitors, who spent an enjoyable afternoon, the pleasure being enhanced by a dainty afternoon tea, which was dispensed by a bevy of girls under the guidance of Misses Drew, Smith, and Park. The programme was a varied one. The championships were closely contested, and' resulted as follows: Senior, F. Cameron; junior, B. Hawkins; preparatory, D. WIlHa. As usual great interest attached to the obstacle race, which attracted thirty entries, the course this year being somewhat similar to last year, save that it included nail driving. A number of stalls containing produce, fancywork, nick flacks, etc., had been arranged in the school, where Miss Sheat, assisted by a number of pupils, held a sale of work iu aid of the Young Helpers' League, and Canton Chinese Girls' School, and appeared to be doing splendid business; Dttails of the events are as follow: CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS.
