At the monthly meeting of the Stratford A. and P. Association, mention was made of the quantity of green feed there will be available on the show * vs for the use of exhibitors stock. Ar, in previous years, ample provision lias been made. The paddocks reserved for exhibitors' use have been heavily iopdressed and closed for some considerable time, the result being apparent to visitors who have been oil the show grounds recently. Exhibitors who are entering their stock for competition may rely on them meeting animals worthy of (hp best, they are able to show. In particular does (his apply to ihe pedigree duirv cattle section, in which the Stratford Show has a name for excellency of quality and largeness of entry. The Jersey classes promise lo rewive a-; much attention from the hands of exhibitors as they did last year, a strong | entry already being assured, the classes j provided neing of a very attractive nature. I In the Friesian classes, where Mr. Campbell Jackson's fifty guinea trophy is open for competition, a particularly good entry is anticipated, the extra classes provided for being on a larger and more at tractive scale than on previous occasions.
A large entry in the Shorthorn and Ayrshire classes is expected. Owners of these breeds will be well advised to swell the entries as much as possible as this provides (he best means of bringing the line qualities of these splendid breeds into the public eye.
