NEXT WEEK'S TOURNAMENT. The commiittee of the Taranaki Boxing Association, at a meeting last night, decided'to hold the Taranaki amateur provincial championships on the Thursday night, in addition to the professional 15-round contest between L. Codman and M. Dempsey, thereby doing away with the necessity of holding the preliminary bouts on the Wednesday. On the Friday evening opportunity will be taken lo decide the finals |„ r ),e et( ,i,t classes of the New Plymouth Hiej- School championship, and the public will therefore have the opportunity nf seeing these clever lads in ncrion Mr. T. Tr.ieey. of Wellington, will ififeree on both evenings
