NEW PLYMOUTH v. FRANICLEY ROAD. A chess match was played at the Soldiets' Club on Thursday night last, between members of the New Pyymouth Chtb and a team i.f visitors from Frankiey Road, and it is to be hoped thai this is only the beginning of many pleasant evenings.
