(From Our Own Correspondent) Oei. 28. At the Magistrate's Court, held on Wednesday, before Mr. T. A. B. Bailey, S.M., Duncan David MoPhcrson, licensee of the Masonic Hotel, was fined 40s and 7s posts for supplying Maoris with liquor after hours. Tho Maoris in question, Koea, Mae Skipper, Meka Mason, and Oki Taylor, were fined 20s and costs Ba. The erection, of the soldiers' memorial monument in Tikorangi cemetery haa been completed. It has a very pleasing appearance, and all who have seen it consider the district has reason to be proud of the steps it has taken to perpetuate the names of Tikorangi lads who fought in the great war. An application was made in the Magistrate's Court on Wednesday by Chas. Emery for possession of the dwelling occupied by James Ohlsson. As defendant said he could not get anotbat house, and had a family of five, the MaeUtrate declined to make an order,
