STRICT LEGISLATION PROPOSED. By Teleeraph.—Pres« Association. Wellington, Laat Night. A deputation of pfcture theatre proprietors waited on the Minister of Internal Affairs to-day to ascertain tha nature of the legislation it has been suggested is ,to be introduced regarding the censorship of films sn& publicity matter. The deputation said it understood the new Bill would control all publicity matter in "filmdom." The Hon. G. J. Anderson: "We hope so." The Minister added that the Government was not out to interfere with the business of films, but it did intend to prevent anything suggestive appearing in films or advertisements. If proprietors did not transgress the kw they would not be interfered with.
