WEDDING.
Tvfo weddings of particular interest to residents of Inglpwond were celebrated on Thmsday lust, when Sir. Harold liroadinore, of Dudley Road, who is the first male born in Inglewood, and son of one of the pioneers of our district, the late Mr. F. Isroadmore. was married to Miss Lydla Pierson, of Warea. at St. Andrew's Church. The hridc was siren away hy her brother, Mr. H. I'iersoii. and attended hy Miss .lulinn, of Otakeho. and .Miss CJrylls, of Inplewood, as bridesmaids, while the two Misses Broadniore, nieces of the bridegroom, acted as (lower girls. After tlte ceremony the bridal party repa : red to Mrs Howell's dining rooms, where seventy guests were welcomed to the farewell of tre bridal naif. The other celebration "was the-wedding of Mr Laurie Dickie, of Frauknm, W.iikato, and M'ssli Ivy Louisa CawcM, of Inglowood, which , was celebraled at the .Methodist Church by the Rev. licnsley. The bride was given away by her father, .Mr. It. Fawcett, and attended l>y her sister. Miss K. Fawcett. as bridesmaid. 1 .Mr. Mc.Nab was besf man. Alter the eerej niony in tlie church an adjournment was 1 made to the supper room or the Town Hall, when a sumptuous repast, supplied by Sirs. Howell of the Kgntont dining-rooms, was partaken of by tlie .kreg gathering of friends and relations who had assembled lo wish the young couple all happiness.—Record.
