JAPANESE TROOPS ARRIVE. By Telegroph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Peking, Oct, 23. Two thousand Japanese troops from Vladivostook enter Manchuria to protect national interests in the Hunchon district, adjoining Korea. A brigade of Chinese troop 3is also advancing thither. China advised Japan that she was able to cope with the situation. The Japanese action is due to raids by Korenn malcontents, in which Japanese nationals suffered. Japan warned China of the incidents a month ago, but China took no notice.—Reuter.
