RECENT STATEMENT DENIED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The secretary of the National Dairy Association states that cabled inquiry to headquarters at Bristol regarding the statement cabled from London on Oct 17 tlidt the Co-operative Wholesale Society will give indefinite credit to strikers, elicited the following reply: "Presa cable report altogether inaccurate. You are authorised to deny all such statements."
[The cable, referred to stated: "Newspapers point out that the Co-operative Wholesale Society gives indefinite credit to strikers, and accepts credit notes from miners' organisations."]
