THE SEIZURE OF VILNA.
FRANCO-BRITISH ATTITUDE. By ttitgra ph.—Press Assn Copyright, Received Oct. 20, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 19. It is learnt that a Note was handed to the Polish Government on Sunday by the Franco-British representatives at Warsaw. It is stated that, while firm and friendly, the Note expresses the opinion that the Polish Government should completely disavow the seizure of Vilna, and adds that if the situation is not quickly cleared up the FrancoBritish Governments will have to consider what further notion is necessary.— Aus.-N.Z.
