FEATURES OF POLITICAL CAMPAIGN. By Teleiraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, Oct. 15. Thirty-one prominent Americans have issued a statement explaining that in the political campaign they all advocate some form of international agreqpient to preserve peace. The statement says: "We have reached the conclusion that the true course to bring the United States into an effective league is by frankly calling on other, nations to agree to changes ill the proposed League of Nations agreement to obviate the objections to article ten. For this course we can only look to the Republican candidate."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
