Great interest is being shown In the boxing matches arranged for Thursday, Oct. 21 at the Hawera Winter Show buildings, when Here will be a professional lightweight match, 15 rounds, between Jack Keenan and Alf. Broom-' wich for a purse of 100 sovereigns. Both are clever experienced boxers, and should put up a great contest. In addition, there will be several capital amateur bouts. Including ono between Laurie Wilis, of Hawera, and G. Brown, said to be Auckland's best welterweight boxer. This will form a programme that will prove a great attraction, and no doubi a bumper house.
