LOYALTY TO ENGLISH UNION. . By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A. conference of representatives of clubs affiliated to the Wellington Rugby Union was held to-day, to consider the proposed amendments to the laws of Hngby. A. resolution was passed affirming loyalty to the English Union, and expressing determination to abide unreservedly by the rules of the International Board. The conference proceeded to discuss the proposed, amendments on the understanding that whatever decision was ultimately arrived at it would not mean a breakaway from the 'English Union. All the proposed amendments were rejected, save those already affirmed by the English Union, nnd one which relates to kicking into touch from penalty or inside the kicker's twenty-five, in which case the ball shall be brought back into play in way at a spot opposite to where it was 'kicked' from.
