It is understood that in agreement between the Rosso-Asiatic Bank and the Chinese Department of Communications ha* been concluded and there will now tie * continuation of joint operations on the Chinee* eastern railway, the bank continuing to finance the railroad. The agreement, which is provisional, refcopxaua China'* political control of the - territory traversed, and provides for a board consisting of ten representatives and includes the repayment of China's original Investment with interest.
