By Telenaph.—Press Asm.—Copyright. Sydney, Oct, 7. Representatives of the transport unions, including the coal miners, met at the Traders Hall and deliberated in camera. It is understood they are strongly objecting to the waterside employment bureau. Mr. Wheeler, the secretary, subsequently hinted that the meeting had decided on action which will seriously imperil the marine transportation of the Commonwealth. In the Assembly the Wheat 'Bill passed the third reading after, a stubborn fight by the Progressives to secure the world's parity. Government members emphatically opposed the parity and the consequent increase of the price of bread. Mr. Storey has been approached by the South Australian Premier seeking an urgent meeting of the Premiers' Conference to deal with the world's 'parity diffieulty.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Cable Assn. Sydney, Oct. 7. The Maheno to-day takes 40 passengers, who will join the Marania at Wellington. They are compelled to make the passage via Auckland owing to the cutting out of the Moana.
