Miss Wright (Timaru) won the Melisup Cup on stroke play against Mrs. Slack (Cambridge), the scores being: Miss Wright 83, Mrs. Slack SO. KIRKWQOD AT NAPIER. Playing at Napier tte other day, J. BY Kirkwood beat Crosse (the ex-champ!on of ! Xew Zealand), 4.up and 3, and in this match Kirkwood reduced tho record of the Ndpier course by six strokes. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. On Tuesday, the ladies of the New Plymouth Club played a bogey match for prises ' donated by Miss Stephenson.
