The population increase between 1910 and 1920 was only 15 per cent, as compared with 20 per cent, for the previous decade. The count at September 20 had reached 90,586,742. The retardation was more marked in the country districts and small cities. Greece, Roumania, and Serbia have asked Bulgaria to surrender seven hundred persons accused of war time atrocities, including ex-King Ferdinand, Generalissimo Jekow, and the civil leaders of the Macedonian-Dobrudscha 'moveIment.
