PROTEST BY BANKERS. By Telegrapli.—l'reas As.sn.—Copyright. London, Sept. 211. The Bunkers' Association lias sent the Government a strong protest, based on the report of the proposed treaty with Russia, which sacrifices British claims against the former Russian Government, municipalities, and railway companies. Bankers urge the Government to insist that the Soviet Government shall recognise as obligations all such debts, and I also give compensation for the confisca- | lion of concessions or private properly. —Aus.-N.Z.
